ESN will take you on a tour of the best student pubs in Maastricht! This is a great way to meet a lot of people. We have picked some of the best pubs that Maastricht has to offer, and in every pub you will receive one or more drinks. We have made great deals, and you get double the amounts’ worth of drinks than you pay for a ticket (good deal).

We will meet you guys at the Guesthouse at 19.00!

We will all end up in the Highlander for the after party…

Friday 3rd of February
22:00-03.00 ESnow party @ de Beurs

After the success of last year ESN the Netherlands will once again host a skiing trip in March called ESnow. In order to get you guys pumped for this we will be hosting a pre-ESnow party in the beurs. Beers will be 1 euro, shots will be handed out and amazing music is promised! See you guys there!

Saturday 4th of February
10:00-15:00 SUPER SALE & BREAKFAST

This is a sale where you can get really nice discounts on hoodies, t-shirts and all other stuff that the UM-giftshop sells! The sale is in the Student Service Centre. Furthermore there are several bikes available brought to you by Jules&You!

Furthermore breakfast (or brunch?) will be provided by the nice people of coffee lovers.

14:00-15.00 PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP

Being an exchange student you will definitely want to document your stay in Maastricht. Therefore we have organized a professional workshop where you will learn arts and skill of photography by an expert. Bring your own camera to the workshop (it does not need to be an expensive or professional one).

19.30 DISCO BOWLING

We will pick you guys up from the Guesthouse and together we will go to the bowling. Tickets are sold at the ticket sale locations. 
 

Sunday 5th of February

14:15 MOVIE

The local cinema Lumiére plays some of the best new movies. We have organized to watch a movie for a very cheap price that has recently gone in premiere. Come along, sit back, and enjoy the film. We will pick you up from the Guesthouse at 13.45pm! There are still some tickets left, you can buy them at 14pm at the doors of the cinema. Make sure to bring 4 euros exact change!

19:00-21:00 DUTCH DINNER

We will have dinner at de Smaakpannekoek at the market square. We will pick you up from the Guesthouse at 18.30pm! Tickets are sold out!

Monday 6th of February
20:00-22:00 SPEED MEETING at KIWI

Want to learn a lot of new people fast? I guess I know the answer to that question.. Join us for speed meeting your fellow exchangers and start building those friendships that will last you a life time!

22:00-02:00 FIRST INTERNATIONAL DRINK (TEQUILA PARTY)

This will be the kick-off of your semester, you might have actually had a class and you want to drown yourself in your misery and boredom. That's why ESN kicks the semester of with a mexican party! Put on those sombreros, bring your muchachos and drink that tequila!

Tuesday 7th of February
20:00-00:00 CANTUS @ MSV Tragos

Prepare yourself for the most traditional and by far most popular (exchange) student event in the Netherlands. It will involve singing and drinking beer, and you will never understand until you’ve experienced it yourself. If you really want to discover Dutch student life in Maastricht, be sure to get you ticket for this event. We usually sell-out extremely fast for this particular activity because we have a specific amount of places, so buy your tickets early!

For most of our activities during the arrival week you need to obtain tickets beforehand. Please note that for many of our activities there is a maximum amount of participants, so if you want to be sure to get a place you should buy them as soon as possible.You can get the tickets through the following ways during the arrival week:

During the whole arrival week you can buy tickets for all events at the ESN office located in the Student Service Centre (SSC) of the University of Maastricht. (Bonnefantenstraat 2, office 2.04).
